~ PCB supplier set to promote AS9120 approval at the show ~
Thame based electronics firm ALR Services Ltd will be exhibiting at DSEi – Defence and Security Equipment International. The exhibition, which will take place on September 13-16, 2011 at ExCeL London, is an opportunity for ALR to promote its recent AS9120 aerospace approval. The PCB (Printed Circuit Board) supplier will be displaying its products at stand N9-220 in the International Electronics Pavilion.
ALR Services specialises in helping electronics companies reduce the costs associated with, and time spent on, purchasing PCBs, without compromising the quality or delivery of the product.
ALR was the first PCB supplier to gain AS9120 approval, in November 2010, allowing the company to offer its services to the aviation, defence and security markets. The standard covers organisations that procure parts, materials and assemblies and resell those products to customers in the aviation, space and defence industries. It addresses the chain of custody, traceability, control and availability of records and will form the centre piece of ALR’s exhibit at the show.
Another key service on display will be the company’s PSP (Panel Sharing Prototype) offering, where a customer’s boards are placed on a manufacturing panel alongside those belonging to another ALR Services client. This results in cost effective prototyping with a very short lead time.
“DSEi is the world’s largest fully integrated defence security exhibition. It provides a time-effective opportunity to meet the whole defence and security supply chain and showcase ALR’s full capabilities to key decision makers,” enthused Jo Saltman, sales manager at ALR Services
“Although we have over 50 years combined experience in the PCB industry, the company is a fresh face in the defence business. We hope that participating at this international event will increase our profile and illustrate how our expertise can be applied in the sector,” explained Jim Rosseter, ALR’s managing director.
